What is A2P SMS (Enterprise Messaging)?
Dollu's A2P SMS service lets your applications send text messages to mobile subscribers at scale - one-time passcodes, transaction alerts, appointment reminders, delivery notifications and opt-in promotional campaigns. Messages enter our platform over SMPP 3.4 binds, a REST/HTTP API, SMTP-to-SMS or the campaign portal, and are routed to the destination operator over direct or premium-grade connections chosen for delivery probability on that network, sender type and content class rather than for the lowest wholesale price.
We hold more than 800 operator connections across 220+ countries, including direct SMPP binds into the major mobile networks of India, the Gulf, South-East Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas. Direct connectivity means your registered sender ID arrives intact, messages land within seconds and delivery receipts reflect real handset status rather than an intermediate hub's acknowledgement. Where a market mandates pre-registration - DLT in India, 10DLC in the United States, sender ID whitelisting across the Gulf and much of Asia - our compliance desk prepares and submits the entity, header and template registrations on your behalf.
Every route is scored continuously on delivery rate, latency and DLR accuracy, and the routing engine moves traffic automatically when a connection degrades. OTP and transactional traffic runs on separate high-priority queues from promotional traffic, so a ten-million-message campaign never delays a passcode. Two-way messaging is supported through long codes, short codes and virtual mobile numbers in 100+ countries, with inbound messages and keyword replies pushed to your webhook or SMPP receiver bind in real time.
The same platform serves a fintech sending 50,000 OTPs a day and a retailer sending 20 million promotional messages in a festive week. Sub-accounts, role-based access, per-account throughput and spend limits, and itemised billing per sender ID make it straightforward for enterprises, ISVs and SaaS providers to run messaging for several brands or business units from a single relationship - with a 24×7 NOC and a named account manager behind it.
A2P SMS path: from your application to the handset.
Why choose Dollu for a2p sms.
The advantages of buying from a carrier that owns its network, interconnects and operations - rather than a reseller.
Delivery you can measure
Per-country, per-operator and per-sender-ID delivery rates, latency percentiles and DLR reason codes in the portal and API, so you know exactly which messages arrived and why the others did not.
Compliance without the paperwork
Our compliance desk handles DLT entity and template registration in India, 10DLC brand and campaign vetting in the US and sender ID whitelisting in 40+ regulated markets, and keeps you informed of rule changes.
Your brand on every message
Registered alphanumeric sender IDs and dedicated numeric senders mean customers recognise you instantly, and route selection avoids paths that rewrite or strip the sender.
Scale without re-architecting
Throughput from a few hundred to more than 10,000 messages per second on the same binds, with burst handling for OTP peaks and festive campaigns and no re-integration as volumes grow.
One vendor for SMS, voice OTP and rich channels
Add voice OTP fallback, RCS, WhatsApp Business and virtual numbers on the same account, APIs and invoice as your SMS traffic.

Direct, premium or grey.
Where an SMS route class shows up: in delivery, in the sender ID your customer sees, in the truthfulness of the delivery receipt and in the compliance risk you carry.
| Dimension | Direct operator | Premium aggregated | Grey routesNot offered by Dollu |
|---|---|---|---|
| Delivery | Direct SMPP bind to the mobile operator; the highest and most consistent delivery | Via a vetted hub or Tier-1 aggregator holding operator agreements; high delivery with occasional re-routing | Via SIM farms or unauthorised international paths; unpredictable, filtered and blocked without notice |
| Sender ID | Registered alphanumeric ID, short code or long number preserved exactly | Registered sender ID normally preserved; may be substituted on a few destinations | Overwritten with a random numeric sender; your brand is invisible |
| DLR quality | Handset delivery receipts from the operator | Operator or hub receipts; reliable, occasionally delayed | Fake or aggregator-generated receipts; no proof of delivery |
| Compliance risk | Lowest - operator-approved, with DLT, 10DLC or sender-ID registration completed up front | Low - operator agreements in place; Dollu vets every hub it uses | High - breaches operator terms and local law; carries fines, blacklisting and lost sender IDs |
| Price position | Highest per message; the lowest cost per delivered, verified message | Mid | Lowest headline price; the hidden cost is failed OTPs, blocked traffic and brand damage |
Dollu does not sell grey routes. Every destination on our deck is direct operator or premium aggregated, and the route class is shown against each price so you know exactly what you are buying.
