What is Private 5G & LTE Networks?
Dollu Private 5G & LTE Networks deliver a cellular network that belongs to your site: your own radios, your own SIMs and an on-site core, engineered for the coverage, capacity, mobility and determinism that Wi-Fi struggles to provide across a 200,000 square-metre plant, a container terminal or an open-cast mine. Devices from AGVs and robots to ruggedised handhelds, cameras and PLC gateways connect with SIM-based identity, roam seamlessly across the whole site and get the latency and reliability that automation, remote operation and safety systems require.
Spectrum is chosen to suit the country and the site. In India we design captive non-public networks under the DoT framework using n78 spectrum obtained through licensed operators or direct allocation; in the United States we deploy on CBRS band 48 with SAS-managed access; in Germany, the UK and other European markets we use local-licence or shared-access bands; and where regulation favours it we partner with the national mobile operator on a dedicated slice. Radio equipment is sourced from Nokia, Ericsson, Celona or other proven vendors, indoors and out, to a design validated by RF survey.
The core runs at the edge. A compact 5G standalone or LTE EPC core on site keeps user-plane traffic local, so latency stays under 10 milliseconds and production continues if the WAN fails, while an optional cloud-hosted control plane simplifies multi-site management. The core integrates with your LAN through VLANs and firewalls, with your Wi-Fi so devices can use whichever radio suits them, and with OT and MES systems through standard interfaces, and it can host multi-access edge computing for video analytics, digital-twin and control applications.
Dollu delivers the whole lifecycle - spectrum, radio planning, core, SIM and device management, integration and 24×7 operation - as one managed service with a monthly fee, alongside our managed LAN, Wi-Fi and WAN so the site's entire connectivity has one design and one SLA. Our IoT connectivity team supplies global eSIM and roaming for devices that leave the site, so a vehicle or container that drives out of the private network stays connected on public mobile networks without a change of SIM.
Why choose Dollu for private 5g & lte.
The advantages of buying from a carrier that owns its network, interconnects and operations - rather than a reseller.
Coverage and mobility Wi-Fi cannot match
A handful of cellular radios cover areas that would need dozens of access points, with seamless handover for vehicles and robots moving at speed across yards, halls and tunnels.
Deterministic latency for automation
Local user-plane breakout and 5G QoS classes deliver the sub-10 ms, low-jitter connectivity that AGVs, remote-controlled cranes and machine vision depend on.
Your data stays on site
Traffic between devices and applications never leaves the premises unless you route it out, and the network keeps running through WAN outages.
SIM-based security by default
Every device authenticates with a SIM you issue and control, with per-device policies, encryption over the air and no shared passphrases to leak.
One partner for radio, core and integration
Spectrum, RAN, core, SIMs, LAN and OT integration and ongoing operation come from Dollu under one contract, so there is no gap between the network and the systems that use it.

How it works.
From first conversation to live traffic - a tracked, engineer-led onboarding with a named owner at every step.
- Step 01
Assess
Workshops on use cases, devices and applications, site walk and RF survey, spectrum options for the country and a business case comparing private cellular with Wi-Fi expansion.
- Step 02
Design
Radio plan, core architecture, SIM and QoS policy, LAN and OT integration and device list documented in a design your operations and IT teams sign off.
- Step 03
Deploy
Spectrum secured, radios and edge core installed and commissioned, SIMs issued and devices onboarded, followed by coverage and performance acceptance testing.
- Step 04
Integrate
Applications, MES, SCADA and IoT platforms are connected, Wi-Fi and LAN policies aligned and edge workloads deployed with your application teams.
- Step 05
Operate
Dollu monitors and supports the network 24×7, manages SIMs and changes and reviews coverage, capacity and new use cases with you each quarter.
MPLS, DIA, broadband or 4G/5G.
No single transport suits every site. Most Dollu WAN designs mix them - an SD-WAN overlay stitches the underlays together and steers voice and critical apps onto the best path.
| Dimension | MPLS / IP-VPN | Dedicated internet access | Business broadband | 4G / 5G |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SLA | Highest - end-to-end latency, jitter, packet-loss and availability targets | High - availability and repair time on the circuit; the wider internet path is best effort | Best effort; consumer-grade repair times | Best effort; dependent on radio coverage and cell load |
| QoS | End-to-end classes of service across the Dollu core | Dedicated, symmetrical bandwidth; QoS to the network edge only | Contended and asymmetric; no QoS guarantees | Shared spectrum; private 5G adds on-site QoS and slicing |
| Cost position | Highest per Mbps | Mid | Lowest | Low - per SIM plus data |
| Lead time | Longest - new fibre and cross-connects; weeks to months | Weeks; faster where the building is already lit | Days to weeks | Days - hardware ships and activates on power-up |
| Best for | Voice-critical sites, regulated data, hub-and-spoke WANs | Head offices, data centres, cloud on-ramps, SIP trunks | Small sites, backup paths, SD-WAN underlay | Rapid deployment, temporary sites, resilience overlay, IoT and fleets |
