Overview

What is Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS)?

Dollu UCaaS brings the tools a team uses to talk to each other and to customers into a single application on desktop, mobile and browser: PSTN and internal calling, HD video meetings with screen sharing and recording, persistent team channels and direct messages, file sharing, and presence that reflects calendar, call and device state. Behind the app sits the same voice core, number inventory and carrier interconnects that power our wholesale business, which is why our calling quality and country coverage tend to be broader than software-first UC vendors that resell someone else’s network.

The platform is designed to sit inside the tools people already use rather than compete with them. Users can place and receive calls from Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Gmail and Google Calendar, see presence synchronised with their calendar, and click to dial from Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Zendesk and Microsoft Dynamics with screen-pop and automatic call logging. Single sign-on via Microsoft Entra ID, Google or any SAML 2.0 identity provider, and SCIM provisioning, mean a new starter gets a working number and extension the moment their account is created.

Administrators get one portal for the whole estate: users, numbers, devices, call flows, meeting policies, recording rules and security settings, with role-based access so a regional office manager can change a hunt group without seeing another country’s billing. Analytics cover call volumes, answer times, meeting usage, adoption by team and quality-of-experience metrics such as MOS, jitter and packet loss per call, so IT can spot a poorly performing office network before users complain.

Global calling plans are where being a carrier matters most. We offer domestic and international bundles in more than 110 countries, with local numbers, emergency calling and regulatory registration handled per country, and metered rates from our wholesale rate deck for anything outside the bundle. Data residency options in the EU, UK, India and Singapore, TLS and SRTP encryption, and ISO 27001 and SOC 2 controls cover the requirements of most enterprise procurement and security reviews.

Why Dollu

Why choose Dollu for ucaas.

The advantages of buying from a carrier that owns its network, interconnects and operations - rather than a reseller.

  • One bill, one vendor, one app

Replace a phone system, a meetings subscription, a chat tool and several country carriers with a single per-user subscription, one admin portal and one support desk.

  • Carrier-grade calling anywhere

Calls ride Dollu’s own network and direct interconnects, so a user in Mumbai, Manchester or Manila gets the same call quality, local number and emergency-calling coverage.

  • Adoption without retraining

Calling and presence appear inside Teams, Outlook, Gmail and the CRM your staff already live in, so usage rises without a change-management programme.

  • Insight into how teams actually communicate

Adoption, responsiveness and quality dashboards per team and site show where customers wait, where meetings sprawl and where a network is degrading calls.

  • Enterprise security by default

Encrypted signalling, media and messaging, SSO and MFA, granular retention policies, eDiscovery export and independently audited controls satisfy security questionnaires first time.

How it works

How it works.

From first conversation to live traffic - a tracked, engineer-led onboarding with a named owner at every step.

  1. Step 01

    Assess and design

We review your current telephony, meetings and chat tools, user counts by country, integrations and compliance needs, and design the tenant, number plan and calling bundles.

  2. Step 02

    Provision and integrate

The tenant is built, SSO and SCIM are connected, numbers are allocated or ported, and Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and CRM connectors are configured and tested with pilot users.

  3. Step 03

    Migrate and train

Users move site by site or department by department with dual-running, short role-based training sessions and in-app guides; legacy systems are decommissioned once each wave is stable.

  4. Step 04

    Operate and optimise

Adoption and quality dashboards guide tuning. Your account manager reviews usage and bundles quarterly, and the 24×7 NOC monitors the platform and your calling traffic.

Still have a question?

Ask our solutions team

Cloud PBX is telephony: numbers, extensions, call flows and phones. UCaaS adds video meetings, team messaging, presence and deeper integrations with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and CRMs in one application and one subscription. Many customers start with Cloud PBX and move seats to UCaaS as they retire separate meeting and chat tools.
