What is Kubernetes & Managed Database Services?
Dollu Kubernetes & Managed Database Services give development teams a production-ready platform without building and staffing one. We run CNCF-conformant Kubernetes clusters on Dollu cloud infrastructure in Mumbai, Singapore, Frankfurt, London and Ashburn - or on your own edge and private-cloud hardware - with a highly available control plane, automated upgrades, node auto-scaling, a private container registry and integrated ingress, storage, secrets and observability. Alongside, our database-as-a-service provisions PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB and Redis in minutes with replication, automated backups, point-in-time recovery and monitoring already configured.
Both services are designed for teams that ship continuously. Clusters integrate with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Argo CD and Flux out of the box, so a merge to main can build an image, push it to the registry, scan it and roll it out with progressive delivery. Databases expose standard endpoints and connection pooling, so an application moved from a laptop or a hyperscaler needs no code changes. Everything is also available through the Dollu API, Terraform provider and CLI, and via the portal for teams who prefer to click through a wizard.
Reliability is handled at the platform layer. Control planes are spread across availability zones with etcd backups every 15 minutes; worker pools can span zones and mix general-purpose, memory-optimised and GPU nodes. Databases run as primary-replica or multi-primary clusters with automatic failover in under 30 seconds, daily encrypted backups retained for up to 35 days, and cross-region replicas for disaster recovery. Private networking connects clusters, databases, object storage and your on-premises estate over Dollu MPLS, cloud connectivity or IPsec, so application traffic never has to traverse the public internet.
What sets the service apart is the operating model. Dollu's DevOps and database engineers work as an extension of your team: 24×7 monitoring and incident response, monthly patch and upgrade windows agreed with you, capacity and cost reviews, performance tuning, schema and query advice, and hands-on help with Helm charts, service meshes and migrations. Pricing is per node-hour and per database instance with no control-plane fee, and data stays in the region you choose under ISO 27001 and SOC 2 controls, meeting GDPR and Indian data-localisation requirements.
Why choose Dollu for kubernetes & dbaas.
The advantages of buying from a carrier that owns its network, interconnects and operations - rather than a reseller.
Ship faster with fewer platform engineers
Clusters, registries, ingress, secrets and observability arrive configured and maintained, so your engineers write application code instead of running etcd and patching nodes.
Databases that stay up and stay backed up
Replication, automatic failover, encrypted backups and point-in-time recovery are on by default and tested by our DBAs, not left as a project for later.
Portable by design
Upstream Kubernetes, standard database engines and open tooling mean workloads move between Dollu regions, your own hardware and other clouds without rewrites or proprietary lock-in.
Data where you need it to be
Choose Mumbai for Indian data-localisation, Frankfurt for GDPR, London or Ashburn for UK and US requirements, or Singapore for APAC; nothing leaves the region unless you configure it.
Predictable cost
Per node-hour and per instance pricing with no control-plane charge, generous included egress and free traffic between Dollu regions and services, reviewed with you every quarter.
