Overview

Dollu in India.

India is Dollu's home market. Our headquarters sit in Noida and our Mumbai interconnect PoP connects directly to the country's leading fixed and mobile operators, so domestic and international traffic terminates over short, measured paths rather than through offshore transit. We hold direct interconnects with the major Indian mobile networks and fixed-line incumbents, giving carriers, aggregators and enterprises Premium CLI-guaranteed, Standard and Wholesale termination tiers into India, along with origination on Indian numbers managed under the applicable DoT and TRAI frameworks.

On numbers, we provision Indian geographic DIDs in the main metros and telecom circles, 1800 toll-free numbers reachable from all Indian networks, and 1860 universal access numbers for shared-cost national reach. Every Indian number requires KYC - a registered Indian entity, address proof and an authorised signatory - and we guide customers through the paperwork so activation typically follows within a working day of document approval. Numbers arrive SIP-ready with configurable routing, failover and DTMF options, and can be pointed at Dollu's cloud PBX, your contact centre or your own SIP infrastructure.

For messaging, TRAI regulations require every enterprise, sender header and content template to be registered on the operator DLT platforms before A2P SMS can be delivered. Dollu's messaging team registers your entity, headers and templates, maps them to our direct operator routes and monitors delivery so that scrubbing failures are caught early. Enterprises that need connectivity as well can use Dollu's own last-mile fibre in Delhi NCR and partner metros for dedicated internet, MPLS and SD-WAN, backed by our 24×7 NOC in Noida.

Regulatory & compliance

What you need to know before you order.

Our compliance desk manages the paperwork; here is what to expect.

  • KYC for Indian numbers

Indian numbers require a registered Indian entity (Certificate of Incorporation, GST and PAN), proof of premises address and identity of an authorised signatory. Foreign companies typically use an Indian subsidiary or a Dollu-facilitated arrangement where the rules permit.

  • DLT registration for SMS

Under TRAI's TCCCPR framework, principal entities, sender headers and message templates must be registered on operator DLT platforms; unregistered traffic is scrubbed. Promotional messages are restricted to 9 am–9 pm and must honour DND preferences.

  • CLI and international routing

DoT rules prohibit CLI manipulation and require international calls to present the originating international number. Inbound international calls carrying an Indian CLI are blocked, and domestic and international traffic must remain on distinct, licensed paths.

  • Emergency calling and lawful intercept

112 is India's single emergency number and licensed operators must support lawful interception. Dollu originates and terminates Indian traffic only through licensed partners, keeping your usage within the DoT framework.
