The Netherlands is served from Dollu's Amsterdam interconnect PoP, where we hold direct interconnects with Dutch fixed and mobile operators and peer with the Tier-1 carriers that make Amsterdam a European hub. Termination into Dutch geographic, mobile and 08x ranges is offered on Premium CLI-guaranteed, Standard and Wholesale tiers, and origination on Dutch numbers is delivered over SIP with sub-5 ms latency for customers colocated in Amsterdam data centres. Diverse paths to Frankfurt and London provide resilience.
Dutch numbering is administered by the Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM). Dollu provisions geographic numbers for customers with an address in the number area, 085 numbers for VoIP and nomadic use, 088 company numbers for organisations with a Dutch establishment, and 0800 freephone numbers. Business KYC covers Chamber of Commerce (KVK) registration or an equivalent, address and an authorised signatory. Numbers can be routed to your SIP platform, Dollu's cloud PBX or CCaaS, or Microsoft Teams, and porting follows the Dutch inter-operator process.
A2P SMS to Dutch subscribers is delivered over direct connections to KPN, Odido and VodafoneZiggo. Alphanumeric sender IDs are supported and there is no national registry, but marketing traffic requires opt-in under the Telecommunicatiewet and GDPR. Many international companies base European operations in the Netherlands, and Dollu supplies them with SIP trunking, Teams Direct Routing, cloud hosting and connectivity from Amsterdam, with data processing kept in the EU by default.

ACM numbering and KYC
Geographic numbers require an address in the number area, 085 numbers are open to VoIP services nationally and 088 numbers are reserved for organisations with a Dutch establishment. KYC covers KVK registration or a foreign equivalent, address proof and signatory identity.
CLI presentation
Callers may only present numbers assigned to them, and Dutch operators block calls from abroad that spoof Dutch numbers. Dollu screens inbound international traffic and configures outbound CLI on assigned numbers only.
Telecommunicatiewet and GDPR for messaging
Marketing SMS requires prior opt-in under the Dutch Telecommunications Act, and personal data processing must comply with GDPR under the supervision of the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. Dollu processes Dutch traffic within the EU and offers data processing agreements.
Emergency calling
112 must be reachable from every Dutch number with location information passed to the emergency centre. Dollu records a service address per number and supports location updates for nomadic users.
