Overview

How Dollu serves carriers, mnos & mvnos.

Dollu is a carrier's carrier. We hold direct bilateral voice interconnects with more than 600 operators, SMS connections into 800+ mobile networks and a switching core that carries over three billion minutes a year. Fixed and mobile operators, national incumbents, MVNOs and OTT providers use us to fill coverage gaps, add redundant supply on high-volume destinations, and buy A–Z termination on transparent per-destination rate decks with real-time quality statistics. Interconnection is over SIP at our London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Ashburn, Mumbai or Singapore PoPs, over private IP, or via TDM gateways where required.

On the messaging side we terminate wholesale A2P and P2P SMS, and we help operators turn A2P from a leakage problem into a revenue line. Our SMS firewall sits in front of your SMSC, classifies traffic by content and origin, blocks SIM farms and grey-route aggregators, and enforces commercial agreements so enterprise messages only reach subscribers over paid, registered channels. Combined with our hub, that means monetisation of international A2P traffic without the capital cost of building and staffing a firewall yourself.

Beyond voice and SMS we provide the services that let smaller operators and MVNOs behave like large ones: SS7 and Diameter signalling, IPX connectivity, sponsored and steered roaming, number range hosting, porting and international number supply. Everything is monitored from a 24×7 NOC, priced for wholesale volume, reported through a single portal and API, and managed by a dedicated carrier-relations team you can reach at [email protected].

Challenges

What keeps communications and network teams up at night.

  • Route quality across hundreds of destinations

Maintaining bilateral routes to every destination is uneconomic. Operators need a wholesale partner that fills coverage gaps with direct routes, publishes per-route ASR, ACD and PDD, and does not silently downgrade traffic to cheaper hops.

  • Grey routes eroding A2P revenue

SIM farms, grey-route aggregators and spoofed sender IDs deliver enterprise messages onto your network without paying termination fees. Without a firewall and a monetisation strategy, A2P is a cost and a spam complaint rather than a revenue stream.

  • Roaming and signalling complexity

SS7 and Diameter interconnects, IPX peering, steering, sponsored roaming and IREG/TADIG testing for 4G and 5G roaming consume engineering time and capital that regional operators and MVNOs rarely have spare, yet subscribers expect seamless service abroad.

  • Number ranges, porting and hosting

Launching an MVNO or a new service line means number ranges, porting processes and hosted routing in each market - every one with its own regulator, numbering plan, format rules and timelines that a lean team struggles to track.

Solutions

How we solve them.

Each solution maps to specific Dollu services - click through for full detail, specifications and FAQs.

  • Wholesale voice termination and origination

A–Z termination on Premium, Standard and Wholesale tiers, origination and DIDs in 110+ countries, bilateral swap and hubbing arrangements, and SIP or TDM interconnection at any of our PoPs with dual-homed capacity.

  • Wholesale SMS and A2P monetisation

SMPP and HTTP wholesale termination to 800+ networks, an SMS firewall in front of your SMSC that filters grey routes and enforces commercial agreements, and a hubbing model that pays you for terminated enterprise traffic.

  • Roaming, signalling and IPX

SS7 and Diameter signalling transport, IPX peering, roaming hub agreements, steering of roaming, sponsored roaming for MVNOs and IoT eSIM profiles that let your subscribers and devices attach abroad without bilateral negotiations.

  • Number hosting and porting

Hosted number ranges, mobile and geographic number supply in 110+ countries, porting projects managed against each regulator's process, and routing tables kept in sync so calls and messages reach the right network.

  • Quality and fraud management

Per-route quality scoring, automatic failover within tier, test-call and CLI-check tools, and real-time detection of IRSF, Wangiri and traffic pumping to protect both your subscribers and your interconnect settlement.

  • 10–25%

Uplift in A2P termination revenue after firewall deployment

  • < 1 day

FAQ

Carriers, MNOs & MVNOs - common questions.

The questions customers and carriers ask us most often before they interconnect. If yours is not here, our team answers within one business day.

Still have a question?

Ask our solutions team

Most operators interconnect over SIP - public IP with SRTP, IPsec, or a cross-connect at one of our six PoPs. We also support SIP-I/SIP-T and TDM via gateway partners for legacy switches. Once IPs and a signed agreement are in place, trunks are typically live within one business day and test traffic can begin the same day.
